What split modes are available?
Grid mode uses both axes, Rows creates horizontal strips, and Columns creates vertical strips. Each enabled axis accepts values from one through ten.
Crop and divide one image into numbered pieces, then download individual files or one ZIP.

Your file never leaves this device
Select one browser-decodable still image. It stays on your device.
Set the enabled axes manually or use one of the six starting presets.
Keep the original ratio or center-crop, then select JPEG, PNG or WebP.
Save individual pieces or package all generated files into a ZIP.
Three slicing modes
Grid uses rows and columns; the other modes lock one axis to a single piece.
Automatic crop shapes
Preset shapes crop around the source center before slicing, with no repositioning.
Up to 100 outputs
Ten rows by ten columns is the maximum grid.
Newly encoded pieces
JPEG defaults to quality 90, PNG is lossless, and WebP uses the selected quality.
Numbered results
Files and previews use row-major numbering from left to right, then top to bottom.
Browser-decoded stills
Broad image input is accepted, but uncommon formats can fail and animation is not preserved.
Assuming the crop can be repositioned
Every preset crop is centered.
Calling the pieces lossless
Canvas encodes each result as a new file.
Expecting perfect reversal after fractional cuts
Rounding and resampling can affect pixel-level reassembly.
Generating too many pieces
Large grids can take longer and become difficult to manage.
Assuming an Instagram order forever
Verify the current profile or carousel workflow before publishing.
Expecting metadata or animation
Generated pieces are new still-image files.
Grid mode uses both axes, Rows creates horizontal strips, and Columns creates vertical strips. Each enabled axis accepts values from one through ten.
Only when you select a crop shape. Square, landscape, portrait, widescreen and tall options use an automatic centered crop. There is no manual crop-position control.
No. Every piece is drawn to its own Canvas and encoded again. PNG avoids lossy compression, while JPEG and WebP use the selected quality. Fractional boundaries can involve resampling.
Rows and columns are capped at ten. Grid mode can therefore generate up to 100 pieces, though large splits require more processing and produce many files.
Yes. Each generated piece has an individual download control, and all pieces can also be packaged into one ZIP.
No. Browser and Canvas processing uses a still decoded frame. Animation and source metadata are not retained in the generated pieces.
No. Pieces are numbered left to right and top to bottom, but profile grids and carousel behavior can change. Confirm the current destination workflow before posting.
No. Cropping, splitting, encoding and ZIP creation happen locally in your browser.
