The reader handles standard QR codes, including many rotated and inverted examples. It reads one code per image and does not decode other barcode families such as EAN, UPC, Data Matrix or PDF417.
Recognition can fail when important modules are missing, heavily stylized, blurred or covered. A successful scan confirms the stored characters, but it does not prove that a destination is trustworthy.

Yes. It tries both normal and inverted light and dark patterns. Strong contrast still gives the most reliable result.
No. It shows the decoded content first. You decide whether to copy, download or open a supported link.
No. A QR code can point to a deceptive website or contain an unexpected payment request, contact or message. Check the decoded destination before opening it.
Yes. The tool removes scripts, embedded HTML, animation, event handlers, external references and CSS from an SVG before rendering it for the scan.
No. Image decoding and QR recognition run locally in your browser. The selected image and decoded content are not sent to IMG Tweak.
This version reads one standard QR code per image. Crop around the code you need when an image contains several codes.
