Text is permanently drawn into the downloaded image and cannot be edited later unless you return to the open editor. Font appearance can vary slightly between operating systems. The editor does not upload custom fonts, curve text along a path or preserve editable design project files.
Large images need more browser memory during export. The editor accepts images up to 80 megapixels to reduce the risk of a mobile browser closing the page.
Yes. Each text layer has its own wording, position, font, size, color, rotation, opacity and effects. You can duplicate, delete and reorder layers.
Yes. Select a text layer and drag it across the preview with a mouse, stylus or finger. The normalized position is applied to the full resolution download.
Yes. The editor uses a smaller preview for speed, then renders your text again at the original image dimensions when you download.
Use a contrasting outline, a drop shadow or a semi-transparent background highlight. These controls are available separately for every layer.
Yes. Press Enter in the text field to create another line. Alignment applies across all lines in that layer.
PNG preserves transparency and text edges without lossy compression. JPG is useful for photographs and creates a solid white background where transparency exists. WebP often produces smaller files and can preserve transparency.
No. The editor uses common system fonts so processing stays local and the result remains predictable. A font must exist on the device for the browser to render it.
No. The image, text editing and export process stay inside your browser. Nothing is sent to IMG Tweak.
